A couple of women who knit during their breaks at the office took the old social timeline (college...young adult...adult...middle age...old) and made a doily out of it. So you don't have to trade in your jeans with the iPod rectangle worn into the back pocket for Women's Dockers.
My husband claimed that all he wanted for Father's Day was something for the house nothing elaborate like for Mother's day... Just something sensible... Like a Vacuum... He says...
I think he is literal as he is with everything...

I think vacuums are cool ... even though I don't own one. (I live in a pre-war building in New York, so all of the floors are wooden.)
