How can you tell if someone is gay?
Normally, I don't give a rats one way or the other, but this is more personal. There's someone I like and I'm kind of getting mixed messages and I'm beginning to wonder if its not that he isn't interested in me, it's just he's not interested in girls.
Is it rude to just ask?
How do you ask? Do you just ask if he likes girls?
What if he says no?

I wouldn't want to be asked if I was gay or if I liked women.
I would like to be asked out by a woman, though.
Mixed signals can be for a variety of reasons. Is this at work? Does he think you're seeing someone? Have the last three or four women he's indicated interest in dropped the BF bomb on him? Do you wear a ring, esp. diamond that looks like it might be an e-ring?
